Global Ballast Water Programme	The Global Ballast Water Management Programme (GloBallast) is a three year, US$10.2 million initiative under the International Waters portfolio of the Global Environment Facility (GEF). The GloBallast programme utilises funding from GEF, deployed through the United Nation’s Development Programme (UNDP), to allow the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to assist developing countries to tackle the transfer of harmful aquatic organisms in ships’ ballast water.
